What is SIP?

Structural Insulated Panel — a composite building element combining load-bearing OSB facing with a thermally efficient EPS core. The same technology used in Scandinavian passive houses since the 1990s.

Structural core

Two OSB-3 faces bonded to a 200 mm EPS or PIR core. The panel acts as a single structural diaphragm — no internal timber frame needed.

Thermal performance

Wall U-value ≤ 0.12 W/m²K. Roof ≤ 0.09 W/m²K. Zero thermal bridges at panel joints thanks to the interlocking spline system.

Airtight envelope

Blower-door tested to < 0.6 ACH@50 Pa. Every SIPNORDIC home ships MVHR-ready with pre-formed ventilation routes inside the panels.

Fast on site

A CNC-machined panel kit arrives numbered and pre-cut. A two-person crew erects walls and roof in five working days — no weather delays during the build.

Factory precision

Every panel is cut to ± 1 mm on a CNC router. Window and door openings, wiring ducts, and utility penetrations are machined in the factory.

Certified & documented

CE-marked panels, ETA assessment, and a full building passport delivered with every home. Third-party airtightness test included as standard.
